I am an Austrian mathematician with general interest
in theory and applications of mathematics.
My research is on stochastic processes and their applications in finance.
I am lecturer in Financial Mathematics in Dublin City University. Recently, I've held the conference Frontiers in Financial Mathematics 2013 (jointly with Paolo Guasoni and
Irene Ward). The videos for plenary talks can now be downloaded
Eberhard Mayerhofer seems to be a rare name, Eberhard being quite a German first name, while Mayerhofer is a typical Austrian family name.
However, I've found a few namesakes in the last years, most notably Eberhard Mayerhoffer von Vedropolje (1870-1914, an army officer of Napoleon and author of several battle-related books, e.g., "Die Schlacht bei Austerlitz" (1805))
who shares Hungarian roots and mother's name (Maria).
